A profession for Women... ou Femme, clearly distinguished from Homme,

Chanel Premier d’atelier was for many years Monsieur P, also called Maitre, as Master Pattern cutter, yet Maitresse has a dual meaning, a primary school teacher or a concubine, and Madame... also can bear a similar connotation, so... not so many options for Femmes of the hexagon, or on the island where wo-man is defined by physical attributes not exactly conducive of clear autonomous identity either...

Then the numerous words available to refer to women on a not so flattering context note, which do not offer the masculine counterparts...

Gender equalities have always been a great place to start shifting the focus from other very unfair and painful stigmas heartfelt in the Creative Studio 4 over 8 years of self discovery through creative activities, all young designers knew the power of colours, and black, white were clearly designer’s choices which could not be mistaken for any other skin tonal variations, making it quite a relaxed place of joy laughter and growth.

In order to achieve a perfect fit between specsheet and garment

When made up garment and specifications do not match there could be several checks to conduct:

1- Accurate Updated SpecSheet importance, provided in TechPack

 In order to Ensure exact production sizes and streamline results, check pattern against fabric sample against spec, and notify other teams of discrepancies to check fabric testing or other problem source

2- Notches and Pattern annotations are crucial for factory performance

Tasks also included corrected production CAD patterns, for long bias dresses or trousers and shirts fit purposes, solving construction finishes and sizing depending on fabric shrinkage tests.
