Day1 to create

Colour synchronicity at LivingUnderOneSun friendly glasshouse occurred today between Albert‘s tulips and African print .... as well as nature’s delightful autumn foliage’s hues and Happy mini pumpkins...

Today at LivingUnderOneSun started the Rescue project to put 900 surplus bags back on the market, from a Creative perspective.
Just as the creative scheming of the first proto took place the Haringey Colour Way first Meeting consultation was an interesting insight into the art of Albert from Agwa  Bud project who will display his wall paintings to make the Park View underpass leading to Ikea more enticing.

Having already admired his bicycle painting there cycling to the Lea Valley, it was great to meet him in person and chat and ... share the creative process with him and receive feedback

For the bag in the making as to how much customization would make visual sense: it transpired, as the sewing and scheming was going on, that doing one Utilitarian front pouch panel matched by a shoulder strap was enough of a story to uplift a generic bag into a versatile more colorful Sustainable individually crafted item... Fit for cycling and carrying lots of fresh vegetable safely... while touring through gorgeous Tottenham!

The 900 bags to follow this initial proto were rescued by LUOS when the Haringey logo changed and the I❤️Tottenham bags displaying the old logo could not be used to give away after the riots, as part of a constant awareness for striving communities and efforts to build sustainable skillful resilience.

Now seems a good time to reclaim the bags as an opportunity to turn a new wheel of the creative projects run by LUOS and link women entrepreneurial skills-to-gain with green creative vision and expression, enabling them to explore new creative avenues leading to micro economies development.

Here is the first proto in action:

As Albert, who took this shot mentioned, „you don‘t look like you‘re in Tottenham“... true : LUOS is a magical kind Creative Heaven in Tottenham... To visit and enjoy ...
Thank you LUOS!
